Christ said that, “by the love you have one for another will everyone know that you are My disciples.” (John 13:34-35.) The Apostle Paul wrote, “Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God.” (Romans 13:1.) Therefore, to love our neighbors and bear faithful and effective witness to the grace and truth of Christ, effective Sunday, September 19, 2021, Hope Chapel Honolulu will abide by the same rules applied to all other indoor business establishments in the City and County of Honolulu under the Safe Access O’ahu Emergency Order.
All staff and volunteers will be required to show proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result taken within seven (7) days before entry. All guests, both those with reservations and those who are walk-ins, will be required to show proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result taken within forty-eight (48) hours before entry. Children under twelve (12) years of age are exempt from these requirements.
The “Safe Access O‘ahu” program requires all employees, contractors, and volunteers of businesses, such as restaurants, bars, gyms, movie theaters, museums, arcades and other similar establishments, to show proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or a negative COVID-19 test result each week in order to operate. In addition, customers must show proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result taken within the previous 48 hours in order to enter the establishment. Children under 12 years old are exempt. (Safe Access Oahu — One Oahu)
