In Matthew 25, Jesus equates visiting prisoners with visiting Him. Have you felt the Lord calling you and wondered how you would be able to do that? Well, there is a way. At the Women's Community Correctional Center (WCCC) in Kailua, programs are in place whereby the inmates have an opportunity ti sit with a Christian woman for an hour each week to discuss their faith, answer their questions about God and other concerns on their mind. Opportunities to hold Sunday morning services with the women exist as well as in depth counseling in the Total Life Recovery program and we are currently looking for more teachers for the program. Many women come to the Lord while they are in prison. Many believe that being sent to prison was a blessing because they listened when someone share their faith and they then accepted Jesus. That changed their life. Those of us who have been blessed to go in to the prison and work with the women have found our lives changed as well.
